Genta Rekayasa a.k.a Magenta
Genta Rekayasa atau yang juga biasa disapa Magenta adalah seorang seniman visual asal Medan, Sumatera Utara. Ia aktif memproduksi karya-karya mural, ilutrasi, dan visual kreatif lainnya. Saat ini Magenta juga aktif terlibat di kelompok Maros Art & Design. Sebuah kelompok untuk produksi visual kreatif di Kota Medan. Dia sangat suka pada seni. Banginya inspirasi dan akuisisi keterampilan baru sangatlah penting. Sebagian besar karya-karya visualnya menghadirkan ekspresi wajah yang dalam. Expresi-ekspresi yang ia hadirkan memantik kita untuk bersimpati dan mempengaruhi atmosfir di lokasi mural tersebut.
Tahun 2020 ini, Tenggara Street Art Festival mengundang Magenta untuk merespon situasi sosial di Solok dengan lokasi-lokasi yang dianggap penting untuk disorot melalui metode residensi. Lokasi utama Magenta dalam festival ini adalah Lapas Klas IIB Kota Solok. Di sini Magenta bersama timnya Bayu Sludge berkolaborasi dengan 2 seniman residensi lainnya, yakni Adhi Dhigel dan Verdian Rayner. Selain itu, selama proses, mereka juga berkomunikasi dengan para penjaga lapas dan warga binaan. Dalam produksi mural tersebut mereka juga berkolaborasi dengan warga binaan.

Genta Rekayasa or also known as Magenta is a visual artist from Medan, North Sumatra. He is actively producing murals, illustrations, and other creative visuals. Currently Magenta is also actively involved in the Maros Art & Design group. A group for creative visual production in Medan City. He really likes art. For him, inspiration and the acquisition of new skills are very important. Most of his visual works present deep facial expressions. The expressions he presents inspire us to sympathize and influence the atmosphere at the mural location.
In 2020, the Tenggara Street Art Festival invited Magenta to respond to the social situation in Solok with locations that are considered important to be highlighted through the residency method. The main location for Magenta in this festival is Lapas Klas IIB Kota Solok (penitentiary institution). Here, Magenta and his team, Bayu Sludge, collaborated with 2 other residency artists, namely Adhi Dhigel and Verdian Rayner. In addition, during the process, they also communicate with the prison guards and assisted residents. In producing the mural, they also collaborated with the assisted residents.
